Tammy VanZant's debut EP- Freebird Child was released earlier this year (2009)
Tammy, daughter of rock icon Ronnie VanZant (Lynyrd Skynyrd),for the first time went into the recording studio to record her life long dream, a tribute to her father.
Also, included on the EP are two bonus tracks - "Dixie Rose" a tribute to her grandmother "Sister" VanZant and "Surviving on a Wing and a Prayer" - dedicated to everyone who has struggled through life. It's something that Tammy can, very much relate to.
